Continuing Smith & Wesson’s focus on performance-driven innovation, the Performance Center M&P9 M2.0 Carry Comp Slide Kit is engineered to enhance control, speed and overall shooting comfort in a sleek factory-built package.
Designed around the latest Carry Comp technology, this upgrade system uses redirected gas flow to help reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise during firing. By strategically leveraging the escaping gases at the front of the slide and barrel assembly, the Carry Comp system keeps the pistol flatter under recoil. This allows shooters to stay on target more effectively, improve follow-up shot speed and maintain greater control during rapid firing sequences. A key feature of this system is the innovative ClearSight Cut.
This unique slide design diverts gases away from mounted optics, helping maintain a clear and unobstructed sight picture while shooting. Especially during fast strings or higher round counts, this contributes to improved optic visibility and a cleaner shooting experience.
The slide is fully optics-ready and compatible with Smith & Wesson’s C.O.R.E. mounting system, allowing shooters to install a wide range of popular red dot optics using the included plate and screw system. Combined with the Carry Comp design, this creates a highly modern and versatile pistol setup focused on fast target acquisition and recoil management.
For low-light capability, the slide assembly is equipped with premium night sights featuring a blacked-out rear sight and a front green-ring tritium night sight. This combination provides a clean, high-contrast sight picture in both daylight and poor lighting conditions. This kit includes the complete slide assembly, barrel and recoil spring assembly only. Users retain their original M&P frame assembly. The barrel is specifically designed for this Carry Comp setup and is not compatible with other M&P slide configurations.
