All variants in this series share the same core platform, differing only in barrel length. This allows shooters to choose the configuration that best matches their intended use—whether that is balance and versatility, or maximum sight radius and stability.
Constructed entirely from stainless steel, the Model 686 Plus features a satin finish that combines durability with a clean, professional appearance. The full steel build ensures long-term resistance to wear while providing the weight needed for effective recoil control. Chambered in .357 Magnum and compatible with .38 Special +P, the revolver offers flexibility across a wide range of shooting applications.
The 7-round cylinder increases capacity compared to traditional 6-shot revolvers, without sacrificing the classic revolver handling characteristics. The Model 686 Plus operates in both single action and double action, giving the shooter full control over trigger behaviour. Whether for deliberate precision shooting or faster follow-up shots, the platform adapts to the shooter’s preference.
